WE SERVE A GOOD GOD 14 AUG 2014

WE SERVE A GOOD GOD: a Biblical message of faith, hope & joy. Our lives reflect God’s Word, & His words shall accomplish what they set out to do!(1) God’s Word also give us His higher perspective on life. It is a thrilling thing to look down from the window of a plane and see how orderly & well managed the terrain looks, while on the ground one sees the flaws, the cigarette butts, the rusty garbage, & the potholes. God has a higher perspective on things than we do. He can see His wonderful plan. You & I, my friend, “are laborers together with God; you are God’s garden [also translated in the old word “husbandry”]”.(2) “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind..”(3) Thank our good Lord. And we are there for each other.(4)

Hallelujah! His mercy endures forever!(5) “O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”(6) “He has set His love upon me.” (7)

“Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart. Wait I say, on the LORD.”(8) “Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.”(9) “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”(10) “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” (11)

THE CAVE OF ABULLAM PICTURED A PLACE OF REFUGE IN THE TIME OF THE STORM.(12) Under God’s direction, cities of refuge were set up.(13) That principle of establishing places of refuge reflect the heart of God. So the Psalmist wrote and sang, “I will sing of Your power; yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; for You have been my defense & refuge in the day of my trouble. To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; for God is my defense, my God of mercy.”(14)

When I ponder these things, my heart rejoices and sings, “I serve a risen savior, he’s in the world today, I know that he is living whatever men may say…” He is a savior that has saved us, is saving us, and will save us! Hallelujah! Let us rejoice together my friend. Be blessed!
