WHEN A SPEED BUMP KNOCKS THE HANDLES ON LIFE OFF 8 NOV 2013

WHEN A SPEED BUMP KNOCKS THE HANDLES ON LIFE OFF & the road to success washes out: a discussion on solutions for both the World Order & our personal life. Various people have insisted over the years they are weary of being told problems, they only want to hear solutions to the NWO; they may be surprised at what those are. Christ prophesied that in the end times, “brother will deliver brother up to death, & a father his child; & children will rise up against parents & cause them to be put to death.” (MT 10:21, MK 13:12) Why does the Illuminati have a secret program to destroy family life? Why did socialism under Stalin’s USSR have a goal to destroy the family? Why do books like Brave New World & 1984 show family life destroyed? As you probably realize, good families are a bulwark against tyranny.

Here is where you may be surprised…we are assisting the tyrants! …half of the missionaries sent out fail & return home in their first year. Why? Because the missionaries can’t not get along w/ other missionaries, because they reminded him or her of family members who the missionary never learned to get along with. In a time when we need cooperation & community to deal with the World Order, unresolved family conflicts are preventing us from dealing w/ the World & cooperatively accomplishing what needs to be done. How many times have you heard someone say, “You remind me of so-&-so…”? you know, someone in their family they don’t like….perhaps their brother, or father or an uncle. “You’re just like my mother who nagged me!” My college counseling instructor considered resolving such family issues critical for any new counselor to do before they helped others. Certain Christian ministries have concluded the same thing. To try to move forward with unsettled basic relationship problems (esp. where trust has been betrayed), these will come back to haunt every new relationship w/ new problems. They need fixing at the roots; “That the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” 2 TIM 3:17 Unresolved past failure breeds new failures.

Our perception of what that past problem was may not coincide with the real root problem. Let’s look at 5 root issues: our view of God, self-rejection (seen in such things as difficulty loving others, inability to trust God, floating bitterness, perfectionism, & wrong priorities), a prideful inability to receive clear direction for life from resisting authority, blaming others & not humbly weighing our own contribution/excerbation to the problem correctly, and not forgiving. Christ warned, “If you don’t forgive, neither will your Father.” MK 11 The disciples asked, how many times can my brother keep doing the same sin against me, & I cont. this forgiving? Christ said 70×7 times. If God can find redeeming things in us, so then why not with others…and indeed He does, & so can we. Next, we are born into a family, and so we must accept God’s design for our lives…if we don’t…we will unconscientiously hate God. Next, note how easy it is to have expectations of others that we don’t demand of ourselves. Reconciliations glorify God…like Esau & Jacob! “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God…follow the example of Christ.” 1 COR 10:31-11:1

EXPECTATIONS & DISAPPOINTMENTS. “This is a family vacation; you are going to have fun whether you like it or not!” Martin Luther identified “anything” we want can be a god, an idol. Idols can arise from both good & bad desires, if we want something too much. We end up pursuing it in place of God. (cf. PLP 3:19) Our desire becomes a demand, which becomes touchiness, & then becomes destructiveness. When people don’t conform to our idol, we punish them. Our idol demands that they should suffer! And we w/draw our friendship. When we inflict some penalty or suffering on others, that is a sign of an idol ruling our heart. (cf. PRV 27:15, JS 4:1-3) “Delight yourself in the LORD & He will give you the desires of your heart.” PS 37:4 The Lord is compassionate & gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. PS 103:8 …and so should we.

THE DESIRE TO HAVE LOVE WIN. There are some lyrics that remind me of an enduring commitment to renew our relationships w/ those who have hurt us, & to rebuild the rubble after the storms of life…allow me to share Dido’s lyrics that run thru my head as I write…”I will go down w/ this ship, & I won’t put my hands up & surrender. There will be no white flag above my door, I’m in love & always will be.” Sometimes what seems impossible with man, is possible w/ God. And when we speak of ongoing families, incl. current blended families, it is so important that conflicts be dealt with. Our children need their stability to deal w/ the future. Let us not put white flags up on these issues!!
