VISCONTI 22 SEP 2013

VISCONTI: A brutal ancient warlord family still connected to the elite. This post presents some interesting info on a prominent Italian family that is not well known to conspiracy buffs. I have often talked about how these elite bloodlines have long histories & are still w/ us today, & this one is no exception. In fact the surname is from the title viscount (viscounte) who was an asst. to a count. A count was the head of a county in Europe.
.
From 1277-1447 & actually afterwards, the Visconti family brutally ruled Milan, (now a city of Italy) as well as Vicenza & Este for shorter periods. Plus Gian Galeaszzo Visconti was duke of Lombardy, & Giovanni Visconti ruler of Sardinia. They quietly became the Sforza family when the last Visconti ruler of Milan died & was replaced by Francesco Sforza who had married his illegitimate daughter Bianca. These two dukes of Milan, Filippo Maria Visconti & Francesco Sforza were the ones who created the deck of Tarot cards, which were originally called “carte da trionfi” (cards of triumph) and weren’t renamed “tarocchi” cards (Tarot in Fr. & Eng.) ‘til a century later. The tarot cards were not brought to Europe by gypsies or anc. Egypt; there are many myths around the origin of the Tarot deck just like the Knights Templars. After the occult world openly got fascinated w/ Tarot cards, one sees members of the Order of the Golden Dawn: Eliphas Levi, Waite, and Crowley writing about the Tarot cards & even designing their own decks. There has never been a definitive order to the cards, and there are different versions. Examples of Visconti-Sforza tarot decks which were first created c. 1451 are in museums like Yale’s Univ. Lib. & the Pierpont-Morgan Lib. (By the way, our playing card deck developed from those tarot cards; Amer. added the joker around 1851 for poker.) Tarot cards were popular with European aristocrats after the Visconti family created them.
.
I mention the Sforza family of Milan in my Bloodlines of the Illum. book. They were friends with the elite Medici family & the Grand Master of the Priory of Sion Rene d’ Anjou (who lived during the period when the Tarot cards were created, and was Navigator—head—of the Priory from 1418-1480). Rene d’Anjou was instrumental in turning Europe onto the ancient mystery religions. He was a cabalist who was also interested in the Grail romances.
.
Just like the Medici family has provided popes, Teobaldo Visconti, while he was engaged in the 9th crusade in Palestine, was elected pope. Known as Pope Gregory X (1210-1276), he was the one that sent the letter to Kublai Khan, ruler of China, that Marco Polo’s family delivered. A number of the family have also been cardinals, archbishops, prelates and so forth in the Catholic church.
.
Fast forward to more recent times-dragons & castles. A friend, Damian, in Bavaria tells me of artwork of a dragon swallowing a child in a castle in Bavaria assoc. to royalty, the Bavarian Illum., and the Visconti family. These elite families seem fascinated w/ dragons, esp. on their heraldry. In European heraldry the dragon, called the “greatest of all serpents”, prior to the 15th century was shown w/ 2 legs, often w/ wings, & a thorny pointed tail. A 2 legged dragon is called a basilisk. Griffins are guardians of gold & treasure. Myverns are 2 legged English dragons. Now there are 3 castles at Schwangau, Bavaria, the most famous is Schloss Neuschwanstein built by the King of Bavaria using personal funds which in part were secret funds from Bismarck for a political favor. The King wrote that the castle was a “temple” to venerate Richard Wagner. This castle is world famous as the inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty castle & was used by Italian Count Luchino Visconti (an openly gay, pro-communist member of the Italian Visconti family who was big into theater, opera, & film directing) for his 1972 film Ludwig. His father was a Grand Duke. By the way, Ludwig’s Neuschwanstein castle was also used in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. After King Ludwig died, his royal family of Bavaria the House of Wittelsbach, allowed paying visitors admission to the beautiful castle; it became their primary source of income. In WW 2, the Nazi’s used it to store the art they looted from all over Europe.

The modern Visconti family has owned Erba Pharmaceuticals, started by Italian pharmacist named Carlo Erba. Erba Pharma. is now part of Pfizer which is part of Pharmacia. Monsanto is a subs. of Pharmacia & has a subs. GD Searle which acquired the Brazilian pharma. co. Carlo Erba. Exactly how much of Pharmacia is still financially connected to the Visconti family I don’t know. Michael Visconti was a well- known pharmacist in our times.
.
The Visconti family has patronized art; Visconti pens are used for history making events such as the signing of the NATO-Russia Summit on 5/28/2002 ending the cold war. These pens are special beautiful writing pens carrying the Visconti name and using art themes like Alchemical Opus.
.
This has been a little history discussing how a powerful, famously cruel bloodline from the 1400’s is still prominent today. Powerful families are connected by blood, & other ties. They are the power behind the corporations & org. religion.
