USING WISDOM’S LIGHT TO AVOID STUMBLING 18 MAY 2013
This post is shining the light of wisdom around to light up our view, least we stumble around in the dark & get hurt when we bump into hidden realities, life’s principles, & God’s laws. For instance, the godly principle of having inner beauty rather than relying on cosmetics has spared women like the Amish the cancer causing toxins that are prevalent in the 12 to 20 personal care products American women use each morning. An example of another hidden reality, Desitin diaper-rash lotion used on infants contains sodium borate (aka boric acid) which injures testicle growth. The hidden reality is that America’s skin care products & cosmetics are full of toxins…toxins which are usually banned for the European market; and American companies that act responsibly in Europe… will turn around & sell the toxic stuff here!
Five words of understanding are said to be better than 10,000 spoken in tongues. (1 COR 14:1). If I can stir the center of your being with just 5 words of wisdom, this post will have done its job. As you have likely heard, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and he delights in His way.” PS 37:23. The more we relate to God, the better our hearing of His still small heavenly whispers that leak into our intuitive mind. Why might that bless us? Because at times we overthink & overanalyze with so much complexity that the simple natural intuitive answer gets lost in the fog of detail. During a crisis, our gut instincts motivated by experience & the brain’s natural abilities can instantly come up with the correct answer. Necessity is the mother of creativity. Let’s quit blocking the naturally occurring answer with countless details & theories.
Necessity works with difficulty to teach us possibilities! Such as our possible strengths. If we could control our difficulties, they would of course cease to be difficult, & they would cease to benefit us with new strength. Testing ourselves & the limits of our abilities are beneficial. No matter what our reward, let us do our best, and give our best service to others, & greater things will naturally come to us.
But the Spirit of this age is Fear, and the dreams of this age are Dead Shadows. Fear of abandonment compels many to stay with the herd rather than independently thinking. The fear of rejection is manipulated by cults and by extension the biggest cult, the Illum. It is common for persons to be rejected simply for being different; for many people are neurotically afraid of differences. And some misinterpret lack of attention as the perception of rejection. Remember that your self-worth comes from your Creator. Near the heart of the Creator there is no rich or poor, male or female, no black or white. The opinion of those petty minds don’t compare with the approval of the King of Kings. So don’t put your ladder of success against the wrong wall. Being right side up in an upside down world brings rejection. Let us transcend it with enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, awareness of our emotions, and joy for life. Every day is a gift from God.
Let us keep rejoicing like Habakkuk, “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” There is no failure for a godly man whose spirit is unconquered!
