Life. Grab it. Don’t run from it. It’s yours, so take control of it. Look at it. It’s yours, admit its reality, and then move forward. Advance. If you don’t it will take control of you and beat you up! Don’t be like the swimmer I saw, who, when the starting whistle blew, asked the ref if he could go. In prison, I gained power over my life by admitting my situation. Those that refused to mentally accept it, defeated themselves. When we look at a picture we don’t just look at the corner, we look at the whole picture. With God in our lives, and His perspective in our life, we have a better chance to see the bigger picture. He tells us: blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. No one lives or dies to himself. Your life is touching others. It means something and has potential whether you realize it or not.
