New life 31 MAR 2013

Noble & courageous brothers & sisters, fb friends, your blameless lives expose the Children of Wrath. Whether you feel it, the heart of God beats for you. Life goes on. Hope goes on.

Life can give us a sense of being violated, of being alone, of feeling empty with a dragging daily routine. You tried school & all they did was stuff your head like a dead turkey full of trivia & social engineering. Your critical thinking & creativity were removed. And when you got your epiphany of truth & stepped out of the matrix of lies, you got viewed as the problem. In fact as you stood for truth, the herd trampled over you. You came, you didn’t conquer, you didn’t even get noticed. And it doesn’t help watching the world giggling as they stampede off a cliff.

Perhaps your honeymoon with Christ seems over; so let’s remind ourselves, He allows adversity to keep His loved ones humble. Our pride is like static preventing us to tune in to God; who’s the Father of all compassion (2 COR 1:3,4) listening to our cares. At times words fail us, they don’t do justice to the pain & problem. Survivors, for instance at firebombed Dresden, simply gathered in numbed silence…what was left to say in the midst of such devastation, shock & insanity? “Therefore the prudent shall keep silent in that time: for it is an evil time.” Amos 5:13.

The Word tells of a similar time…a people who “wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. Hungry & thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, & He delivered them out of their distresses.” The Word also speaks about those who will scoff at the truth (PRV 9:7-8, 15:12) and those fools who delight in broadcasting their opinions, but despise learning! (PRV 1:7, 18:2)

Let the spiritually dead bury the dead. The World’s press gives us obituary columns, while heaven is busy announcing in song those who daily go from death to life. Focus on life my friends. Don’t let the world’s barrage of stress create such “long range penetration anxiety” that you flee reality or develop a bunker mentality. “Lord, renew our spirits. In Christ, Amen.”
