FACING PERSONAL CROSSROADS AS THE WORLD TAKES THE ROAD TO DESTRUCTION 10 MAY 2016

FACING PERSONAL CROSSROADS AS THE WORLD TAKES THE ROAD TO DESTRUCTION: Embracing your purpose for being on this planet.(10 MAY ’16) You can make a difference. What makes your life meaningful?? Who are you?? Don’t linger with mediocre purposes & wander aimlessly, let God reinvent you for your mighty, noble purpose, your calling in life. Patiently reflect on your life. As the Word says, In your patience you shall possess your souls.(A) How can you make a positive impact? How can you repair the World with love? How can you spend your life on spiritually meaningful activities, picking up Spiritual $100 bills rather than spiritual pennies? Both take the same time & labor.

“THUS SAYS THE LORD…ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is and walk in it; & you shall find rest for your souls…”(B) A marvelous passage for us to quit being wandering souls, and to seek the ancient godly paths of righteousness. These ancient paths are time-tested paths of success. Life is an opportunity. Accept responsibility for that opportunity. We have a worse problem than tax-evasion in this nation, God-evasion. “And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him…”(C) Take the path less followed to unspeakable joy. Or if you have to get off the beaten path and, with God’s help, forge a new one. Paul said hardships did not phase him, “nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus…”(D)

THE WINE OF HEAVEN IS AN INSIDE JOB. The fruit of God’s Spirit is peace & joy. “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.”(E) When we take the path of God’s calling on our life, and put our hearts into it, we receive great joy & blessings. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle & lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”(F) You are here for a wonderful divine purpose. You are greater than money or a job. Bring your heart & soul into your day-to-day life and focus on your purpose, direction in life, & tactics & resources to get there. I want to see your spirituality & joy tap dancing. Value others. Reverence life. Be whole & wholesome. Be an angel of light & hope. Let your life remind people of God’s presence. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.(G) Don’t let the World steal your joy.

THE WORLD NEEDS A FRESH VIEW. But not the disastrous changes that are coming, which may make today’s world unrecognizable in ten years. The wisdom of the World’s advisors shall perish.(H) There is a way forward. There is a way to nobly be heroic—even if you will likely be an unsung hero. The world is a cacophony of uninformed opinions, and spins lie upon lie. They legalize foolishness & abominations. The stench of spiritual death is all around us. Even while their World is shaking, in their normalcy-biased, prideful, hateful eyes, they think we are obsolete. They want to discard us. God tells them, “You fool. This very night your life will be demanded from you!”(I) Disaster can strike any moment. Time to turn to God. God is not mocked, He loves justice.(J) Time to place your foundation on the time-tested solid rock for when the storm hits, rather than playing in the sand when the tidal wave strikes. God holds your future, so get right with Him. Being politically correct does not make you prepared to meet God. God has revealed Himself in history, nature & His Word, find Him. The World tries to confuse it all by drowning people in false choices.

SO WHO ARE YOU MY FRIEND? Why are you here? Listen to God…make your life count. Know yourself. There is a purpose worth living for. There are values worth standing & dying for. The pt. is not self-enlightenment, but nobly serving humanity. What is God’s vision for you? The Kingdom of God is in your midst. We pray, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Make your life count.
