DAYS OF ACCUSATION OR AWE?: A message of encouragement & discernment. (14 NOV 2016)

Today we have a problem with people feeling guilty for what they should not, or the opposite: not feeling guilty for what they should be ashamed of. The title to this message alludes to two different events: Rosh Hashana & Yom Kippur referred to the Days of Awe and what Satan, the accuser of the brethren (A) does. These last 2 months have witnessed both concepts (awe & accusation) all around us. This message is to encourage vision within the Body of Christ. “…he that keepeth the law, happy (blessed) is he.”(B) Where there is no vision, the people perish. “Then shall they seek a vision of the prophet: but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.”(C) Wow, if that verse doesn’t apply to today?? The law of God and the counsel of the ancients has perished so that the people can’t receive a genuine vision from God’s prophets.

ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN. “…for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down [to the earth].”(A again) It was a Satanic spirit that inspired the accusers of the woman caught in adultery (D) who approached Yahshua with her in tow; and I believe that Yahshua wrote words referring to the law of Moses in the sands, that caused her accusers to leave in a fluster. They were in violation of the very law that they were trying to use. “But you know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:…unloving, unforgiving, slanderers,…despisers of good…lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”(E) Whew, we see this all over, I see the slanderers of my life, I see the slanderers of Trump, I see the slanderers of other good men & women by people who are despisers of good and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. (For instance, a “Christian” who was on public radio slandering me a few days ago is into weird kinky public sex. And I think of all these people who slander what Trump has said or is about, meanwhile their own lives are “liberally” a mess.). (I had a video shared of a black American man crying about how Trump will get him a job, make his city safe, lower his taxes and other things. I thought it would brighten your day as he cries.)

CORRECT APPLICATION. That being said, the criteria of whether something should be listened to is the law of God which defines sin & the truth…not the credentials (whether good or bad) of the accuser. And we must remind ourselves, that even though Satan is the accuser of the brethren, this verse does not mean we can hide behind the label of being a minister and that we are above reproach. In secret cabals, the big name ministers have pledged to protect each other from any accusations of sin, and to help each other cover their sins. This is standing things upside down. They twist & misapply REV 12:10 to mean any accusation against a Christian is from Satan. So this message is to address how we can focus in better to discern for ourselves where we stand. We are taught to “weigh what is said” (F)

THE HOLY SPIRIT CONVICTS OF SIN. The Holy Spirit reveals sin to the conscience. These revelations come as spiritual intuition. This means that our spirit (Spirit person) apprehends God’s mind intuitively–or perhaps even stronger through a quantum entanglement that I wrote about on 9/9/16. We can also be proactive & pray for God to reveal all that we need to confess & make right. That kind of prayer has blessed me. God’s Word teaches that God will guide the meek.(G) The most valuable aspect is communion with the Lord in the spirit, not emotions or logic…which the soul man works off of. When Paul [f.n.a. Saul of Tarsus] was converted, having accepted the Holy Spirit, he had the wisdom & ability to be taught by the Spirit and not get caught up in going to flesh & blood. (H) Christ said the Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth!(I) Likewise, if a person can pull it off, he will likewise be ahead to read the Word of God with the Spirit rather than pick up lots of disinformation baggage in the churches, which by & large are compromised. You might argue, that was good for Paul but not for me, yet the Word says: “All shall be taught by God”(JN 6:45), and the “Spirit searches all things”. (J) There is nothing wrong with an elder brother mentoring or discipling you, but as you will learn in this message, you must learn to hear God’s voice yourself, or be singled out for attack by the enemy.

CHRISTENDOM’S BAGGAGE. New Christians are easier to show the truth, than Christians carrying lots of false ideas from Christendom. One example of false teachings, widespread in Christendom…begun by the Roman Catholic church…are ideas about divorce. In reality, if one understands the Law of God and the Greek in the NT manuscripts, the actual meaning is the opposite of what is taught in the churches. Yahshua endorsed the law of God on divorce found in DT 24 and EX 21. That should not surprise people, Christ said he did not come to destroy the law–but Christians totally resist that because of their baggage, and the bogus translation of a couple of words. Divorce is not a sin…it is scriptural…although God obviously does not like it, even though He finally gave Israel a Bill of Divorce (K) Yahshua’s father, because he was a just man, wanted to divorce Mary: “Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly.”(L)

Deuteronomy 24:1>> “When a man takes a wife and marries her, if then she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce…” The penalty for adultery was death, indecency is something else. The law is not sin; divorce is part of the Law of God. Now this message is not on divorce, and I perhaps should not have opened up this can in this short message…but it hurts my heart that churches take the stand that a divorced person is no longer a Christian or at best a second rate Christian not worthy of any respect or kindness. This is the kind of false accusation that many Christians burden themselves with. If the criticism for wrongdoing for something does not come from the Holy Spirit & backed by the Word, in other words comes from the minds of others, it can deplete us spiritually to honor it. It demeans rather than builds. For instance, to accept that you are a homophobe because you don’t believe in homosexuality. That demeans, it does not build you up. So walk by the Spirit, not the criticism and slander and PC thinking of the World. There are so many types of false accusations, I can’t list them all.

SATAN’S ATTACKS. The way Satan cleverly attacks is so subtle. He will incite the person to live in their soul-lish man doing good. The person quits listening to the Holy Spirit & does what seems good. He or she begins living by feelings…and their spiritual comprehension withers. The Holy Spirit is blocked off, and the person keeps doing “good” rather than “Godly”. Once fully here, the person then is totally assaulted, as well as fed lies. The end result is the person falls away. It is so easy to feel good or feel right, when we are wrong. Feelings are not facts, nor spiritual facts.

It is important to test our walk…just like you keep track of your car fluids, or vital signs with checkups. And we are told how this is done: “interpret [“compare” in the Greek] spiritual truths in spiritual language”(M) The goal of Satan is merely to accuse. If he can get us to be down on ourselves, he will. In Godly spiritual dynamics, we confess our sin & feel peace. In a spiritual attack, we will feel bad, continue to feel bad, & despair, “I’m a bad person.” I can’t believe how many Christians are falling for these attacks: “I can’t be perfect, so there is no use in trying.” Once a sin is confessed & buried under the blood of Christ–it is gone, the Spirit will not bring it up again. The accuser will though, pretending to be a good thought or good spirit. The bottom line is what is not of faith is sin, & that we are to walk in the Spirit, and not use our own thinking to determine our actions.

FINAL THOUGHTS. We are brought back to the principle that there is a way that seems right to a man, but it is the way of death. We can’t neglect learning to hear the voice of God, His Holy Spirit. It is a still small voice that your spirit’s intuition will begin to recognize, if you love Him & His laws, & His Word. If we don’t, then Satan will take advantage of our poor hearing to fill our minds with negative self-worth feelings, feeling of doubt & despair, and accusations from the PC world, anything to destroy us. At that point, we become that category of people that God says He has lots to tell them, but their hearing is dull and they won’t understand.(N) Let us put on the whole armor of God so we can stand against the wiles of the devil! Have a blessed day in Christ my friend.
