FINDING WHAT WE REALLY WANT 21 JAN 2018
This message strikes at the root of our lives…what gives happiness & provides our lives with meaning??? One man achieved the success so many today strive for; he was able to build magnificent houses with lovely gardens, with relaxing pools of water and all the live entertainment one could have. He also had more money than anyone else in his nation. He was at the pinnacle of worldly success…whatever he wanted & wanted to do, he got. He had wine, women & song, to use an expression. He had everything that most people think will bring happiness, and he discovered to his consternation that it did not bring happiness. In fact, he moaned after getting all his desires met: “I hated life…for all is vanity and vexation of spirit.”(A) (See Ecclesiastes in general & especially chapter 2 for his story.)
OUR DEEPEST DESIRE. When I worked with D.I.D. programmed multiples, I discovered that the Illuminati’s mind control programmers who want total control were frustrated because they discovered that deep in each person lies a part of God’s Spirit, which is the true core and which they could not control. Lacking any means to control it, they would bury it under programming & trauma, and hide it from the conscious mind of the mind control victim. This inner spirit in each of us craves fellowship and peace with our loving Creator God…and it is disturbed when it is not one with God in fellowship. As it is written: “The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.”(B)
SEEKING WITH ALL OUR HEART. God promises to add His Spirit to our lives if we seek Him with all our heart & wait on Him. (C) “And you will seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (D) Sometimes this seeking is difficult. Moses prayed & fasted for 40 days & nights! (E) The early church prayed without ceasing for Peter in prison. King David said, “I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for God.”(F) Seeking God with all our heart right down to the deepest part of our being (our spirit) can take earnest sincerity to the point of dethroning our ego/self and letting God have our lives, but when it happens we finally experience the happiness our deep inner being has craved. Paul & Silas are an example of two men who achieved happiness & joy in the Lord. Even though they were arrested, tortured & thrown in prison…they sang praises & prayed unto God!! (G) You’ve heard it said that anything valuable will cost us something. The disciples preached, “confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God.” (H) So yes, you my friend may suffer as you seek God with all your heart, but the reward will exceed anything you can ever gain by seeking success in the world, as the wealthiest man of his time discovered the hard way. Be blessed my friend.
