IT IS EASY TO GET STUCK IN OUR LOSSES & IN OUR PAST 17 AUG 2013

IT IS EASY TO GET STUCK IN OUR LOSSES & IN OUR PAST: going forward even w/ pressure.
One of the most incredible men to have lived, he was heir to the throne of the Super Power of his time, he had the best in life, and could have continued having the best of what the world had to offer, but he turned it all down because of his conscience. He was one of the most humblest of men, and in spite of making mistakes, he was chosen to be one of God’s most powerful & greatest prophets…Moses. He played a major role in the creation of the nation of Israel, and when Moses died, everyone was stunned. How could anyone else take his place? How could things go on? He was like a father to so many…. So YHWH God came directly to Joshua & basically said, “Moses is dead…move on!”
.
God told Joshua, “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore rise….I shall be with you. I shall not fail you…Be strong! Be of good courage! For you will divide the land…Only be strong! Be of good courage! Do not tremble! Do not be dismayed! For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
.
Each of us face mountains that need moved, and giants in our paths. And when it happens the enemy, who loves to rob, kill, and destroy is there to undermine our spirits, discourage us, and tear us apart in every way. But there is hope. We must not get bogged down in focusing on the problem— we can be part of the solution, or part of the problem. Paul, who went through incredible trials, said, “We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—” (2 COR 4:8) How did he deal with his giants & mountains of problems & suffering? “I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Messiah Y’shua.” PHIL 3:14
.
When Yahshua faced torture & death, he asked if it be God’s will to please remove it. It is totally within our prerogative to talk to our heavenly Father that way. However, when Christ realized that he had to go through his arrest & cruel crucifixion, he faced it with faith, hope & courage. He had to have faith that God would continue the work he had done by using his still spiritually immature disciples, as well as the faith, hope & courage that he would make it through the cruel test he had to go through.
.
Yahshua, Joshua & Paul carried hope in their hearts. The Word says, “As a man thinks, so he is.” Without hope, we are indeed hopeless. Losing hope puts us in a ragged survival mentality. But a realist believes in miracles! As God said, “Arise…and be strong…and go!” All things are possible to those who believe in Christ. These are all powerful words written in the Word. They have inspired many men & women before us to press toward that mark in faith, and by doing so, to move forward & succeed.
.
These words in the Bible are not motivational words from motivational speakers. They are thoughts inspired by God in the hearts & minds of men who had every reason to get caught in their losses & in the past, but they broke free of the negativity by the courage God gave them. Christians talk about needing revival. A revival of hope is needed. A revival of repentance from past, so that we quit doing the same thing & expecting different results. God told Joshua to go possess the land. The Word of God w/ sincerity of heart is the strength of every soldier in Christ…otherwise one is weak. (cf. JER 1:17, JOB 12:21) Let’s take God’s Words at face value and have a revival of hope.
